I love to eat froggies meat. It's so tender and juicy on every bite. Last week, I went to a small food court area nearby the OUG Steven's corner (VERY NEAR). It's quite good for someone who likes something looks special. It's very special to me as the froggie meats is not cooked together with the poridge itself. It's cook in another pot and you mix it together with it's own sauce on the poridge. Looks very good. Besides that, my sis and I also ordered some other stuffs there. We ordered 'ba kut teh' which consist only of pork belly and intestine. The soup was ok, but the pork belly and intestine is not cooked inside the soup which the meats does not cover the soup taste. It felt a bit tasteless on the bellies and intenstine.
Froggie poridge stall, well it also sell other poridge like fish, clams, and some others. But I think it's famous for it's froggie meat poridge (Kung Poh Ting Kai Chuk) It's located at the corner shop if you know where is Steven's Corner OUG branch.
Their cooking area.
The Bak Kut Teh shop beside it only.
The soup and the pork meats is put seperately.
Shouldn't be Bak Kut Teh usually the meat is cooked with teh soup??
There is also a chicken rice shop here, but wasn't sure is it nice.
Quite crowded with people. Then environment is quite small and crowded.
Our Bak Kut Teh came first. We ate this while waiting for the poridge.
Quite a bit tasteless for their pork bellies and intestine
Our froggie meat cooked in spicy sauce (Kung Poh Ting Kai)
Our white poridge. You mix the froggie meats and the sauce together with the poridge on your bowl.
Our delightful meal.
Added in a bit too much sauce and see what happens to me.
Incredibly spiciness written all over my face and all the sweats start spilling all over my face.
Quite spicy and yet it taste so good.
Our foods ended pretty nice and incredibly, we finished all the stuffs with just the two of us.
Taste | Incredible taste for the poridge and froggie meat ( Kung Poh Ting Kai) Must try if you can eat spicy stuffs.
Price | Well, the price for the poridge and froggie meat for 2 person is RM 22, while the Bak Kut Teh cost us RM11 for small bowl of bellies and intestines.
Environment | Environment a bit crowded and very small. Most importantly it's open air and no air conditioning on such a hot weather.
Services | Not much service in hawker stall food courts. Order your things and you will wait till you get your foods.
Charges | No hidden charges
Location | Taman Overseas Union Garden (OUG) Nearby Steven's Corner |
