TGI Fridays at IOI Mall

A couple of weeks ago, my sis's boyfriend recently came back after a two weeks working trip at Egypt. Then my family thought of celebrating just to welcome him back to Malaysia and so my dad decided to go for western foods and ended up going to TGI Fridays. It was an awesome meal and great foods and environment.

IOI Mall just finished up with their new extensions couple months back and they have delivered a new fresher look to the people. They even manage to made some refurbishment on the GSC cinema and I heard that it is pretty much nicer compare to before. But the identity from the outside doesn't have much difference compared to the previous original look.

TGI Fridays at IOI Mall.

Me just posing around. Too bad got to seat on the outside due to not having a big table.

My sister posing on the inside.

The happy couple, my dad and my mum.

Actually, it was my first time eating at TGI due to many times my dad and mum went and yet I am not free due to assignments and exams.

Their environment was pretty well made.

They make me feel that they like to put many old pictures on their walls.

Pretty much like their environment and feel.

Wow, looks like the oldies to me. Elvis Presley is in it too.

Look so neat on their arrangement.

Come for the food, Stay for the fun. I wonder what is their fun part.

Our starter, we ordered one bowl and shared among us five people. :D

The main, ordered by my sis's boyfriend, Ben. something about chicken with cheese.
But taste not so good because it's cheese too little.

The main course, Pasta ordered by my sis.

My dad ordered a Rib Eye.

While me, I ordered their burger.

My mum ordered their lamb ribs.

Arrrrr... Big mouth and Bite. Hehehehe. Need to open so big.

It's about the double size of my usual Ramlee double beef special burger.
But absolutely it taste much more better than Ramlee of course.

Taste

The taste was absolutely good. I tasted all the foods ordered because my family always likes to share the food around or rather they couldn't finish them all and I became the DBKL wrapped up all the food.
Price

Actually comparing to other similar restaurants like Chilis or Tony Romas, this is pretty much the same price. But the fact is that it is still pricey compare to normal western, but what make the difference is their materials used is better and yet they create a better taste.
Environment

Environment wise was not bad, but the fact that their tables is usually for 2 or 4, it's hard to eat with five people.
Services

Pretty much good on their service as my dad keeps play around with their staff and yet they still serve us well.
Charges
10% service and 5% government. It's quite usual.
Location
IOI Mall ground floor new wing.

Tong Yun my favourite

It's been a while since I last ate some tong yun. Although you could make them any time, but usually it's only eaten during the celebration. Love to eat tiny tiny and small ones and not so much sweet beneath it.

The Japanese Restaurant Daimon - Okonomiyaki Hiroshima Style at Low Yat Plaza

Before I head to shopping for computer stuffs, my friend and I went to a place called Daimon. It's located at Low Yat Plaza lower ground floor. My friend is the one who brought me there and introduce some new things to me. Never eaten before something so special. When I heard the name, it sounds so interesting that I am trying new stuffs.

The Japanese Restaurant Daimon - Okonomiyaki Hiroshima Style

Their environment was a bit small. Suprisingly, it has very little people

Their open kitchen.

The staff who cook for our meals on a hot plate.

Their decorations

After ordering the food, only we manage to saw this value set meals. -.-

They came up in certain newspapers.

Their menu selections

This is what I ordered, Hiroshima Mayo

My friend ordered Hiroshima Seafood.

The drinks we ordered is the same, honey green tea. Thumbs up. This is very nice!!!!

My friend's Hiroshima Seafood. RM19

My Hiroshima Mayo. RM16

Well, the menu said it's cut into 6 portions so that you can eat easier. It is some kind of soba mee which is fried on a pancake and egg wrapped on it with some different choices of selections which goes from pork, squids, seafoods, tuna, and many more. It wasn't quite expensive yet it isn't quite cheap but we could know for this kind of places which has quite high rental should have charged quite a price. It taste very good and lovely sauces on top. I really do recommend to go try it out. Usually if a restaurant doesn't have much people, people might scared to try new things but if there isn't people trying, there will not be any people to get to eat nice foods. I have tried and this is excellent.

**My friend said before that he tried before is another handsome guy cook. We pass by later and found out that the handsome guy is more skillful but he was out for lunch when we ate our meal. **

Taste

Incredibly nice and excellent sauce, mee and the ingredients. Eat while it is still hot.
Price

Couldn't say it's cheap but it isn't as expensive as what I thought of.
Environment

The environment is quite clean but their open kitchen looks a bit messy on the inside. But their seatings could cover small area only.
Services

They serve us pretty well.

5% service charge. No government tax

New Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse

Yesterday, I was a bit free and my friend invited me to join him and become his assistant in carrying stuffs that he wanted to buy at Low Yat Plaza. He was going to find some good stuffs to DIY his own computer. Before he heads to Low Yat Plaza, he already taken many initiative to do many research on the price checking of different shop lots at Low Yat and also written down many different back ups in case the things he wanted is not available anymore or out of stock. Indeed, it was a down turn that he was not able to get some of the stuffs he wanted and there is a slightly price increase on the rams. Overall, it was quite funny as it ended up with most of his stuffs bought from PCzone from Low Yat which has the most competitive price at there.

It was quite enjoyable shopping there with him as I wasn't planning to buy anything and yet I ended up buying my new keyboard and mouse. Old keyboard and mouse are starting to get defective, therefore I went to Low Yat to buy a new keyboard and mouse. Mouse right click started to malfunction quite often so it's time to change a new one. Went to Low Yat to get a cheap mouse and keyboard. Bought a Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse for only RM43. ^.^ quite cheap and reasonable price for a normal mouse and keyboard. This is what I called as PLC ( Peng, Leng, Cheng) which means cheap, pretty, and good. Besides that, I also ended up buying ink as my printer ink ran out pretty fast after printing out over 400 pages last week ago just for my assignments.

Traffic Jam Kills!!

Well, just like the title said, it really takes up peoples life just to get stuck in traffic jam for few minutes or even hours. Occasionally this happens quite often in most hot spot areas such as MRR2, the road which I often took. Well it's kind of very bored to drive alone with no one around to talk to while getting stuck in a bumper to bumper crawl all the way from Tesco Ampang till maybe Bandar Tun Razak using MRR2 during the working session and off working session. Why is it so hectic in KL with so many cars around. Isn't there any way to get rid of this traffics.

Just happen to go out for a weekend with my parents. Though of having a drive out with my dad's precious car Honda Accord and yet we still get stucked in traffic due to there is a mosque nearby where the malays are just about to go off after praying. It's good to pray to their own gods, I don't blame them but could they ensure that their car parkings are at a good condition. It's kind of feel ackward to see people simply park by the roadside blocking the road just for the purpose of going to the mosque. They should provide a parking space for them.

Stucked somewhere at unknown area due to dad wanted to try new road.

All the motorcycles are crawling out of the mosque heading home.
It was so jam that the car couldn't move at all.

Supper at Ee Fatt Dim Sum @ Pudu

There are many dim sum restaurants almost anywhere but it's quite hard to get some good ones. This is one of the good ones out there. Please do not compare with those high class dim sum like Ah Yat Abalone Dim Sum. This is quite a good one as it's fishballs has good fish meats with less flours. Most of the dim sum restaurants out there started to reduce cost on materials by putting more flours on the fishballs which made it taste so awful. If you happen to go to Pudu, maybe you could try it.

Their restaurant name.

Their staff putting some of the dim sum to heat up under their heaters.

The Dim Sum my family and I had for our supper.

Taste

Taste great for their dim sum
Price

Just quite about average price.
Environment

Environment not so crowded as it opens till 1 or maybe 2 in the morning.
Services

They serve you pretty fast since there aren't much people but I promise it does taste good.
