Holiday at Friend's House - Day 3

Like the previous day, we went for a long distance walk to town for breakfast. After breakfast, we went for a walk at the dry market which sells some cheap clothes, watches, vegetables, biscuits, and some other stuffs. My friends bought some haiwaian pants just to prepare for Langkawi trip. I on the other hand end up with nothing to buy. After that we walk back home and continue our mahjong and card games. After about lunch time, there is a famous laksa which always drive through along the road of the house in a truck. We share among ourselves on that nice and tasty laksa. This is just a light meal before lunch.

Our small bowl of laksa shared among ourselves.

Our lunch after a light meal of laksa

After having lunch, everyone rested a while about 2 hours. Some continue playing mahjong, rummy and cards, while I go to rest in the bed as I am quite tired on that day after playing in the water for a while.

After that, we move out in 5 motorcycles. There are just sufficient motorcycles license among us. I do not have the experience or the license for motorbikes. I feel it's quite dangerous having a ride on such small and convenient transportation. Soo Chi's cousin was my driver while i am the back seater on that day.

I felt so much difference in riding on a bike in urban areas rather than city areas. It's more safer as there are lesser cars on the road. I wonder how long I have not been on a motorbike ride. Maybe it was about 3-5 years back since I last ride on a motorbike. Soo Chi's cousin speed up on the way to the temple. It was quite a fun ride and exciting experience. At the temple, we just do some donations and pray while taking some photos on certain areas. I do not dare to take pictures in certain parts as temple is quite a sacred place which should be respect at all cost. The temple is quite a big place.

Trying to act cute? Or? I also don't know.

After a while at the temple, we rush to the seaside. Along the road, there were cows crossing the road which blocked our way. It took about 1 hour for the whole cows to cross the rods. I forgot to take picture of the cows as I was still riding on the bike and I worry my camera would fall down. We were late for the sunset at the seaside.

The aftermath of being late

Too dark and it was quite windy at the seaside.

All of us trying to pose nicely but the light was not bright enough
(I wonder who is who in the pic)

I like this because it looks very natural

After some time at the seaside, we head home. It was very enjoyable on that day, as we manage to do a lot of things at the end of our day before heading to Langkawi. I love it very much and enjoy throughout the night.

The praying mantis at Soo Chi's home

It was trying to pose his stance as if he was ready for battle as we took our camera to take picture of it. It was my first time that I see a praying mantis. I have never seen one in my life. Most probably because I live in the city. Besides that, we also manage to saw a 'Biawak' also known as komodo below the house swimming in the sea. It is about 2-3 metres long including it's tail.

Our last meal at Soo Chi's house

It was a great 3 days 3 nights trip as we all enjoy ourselves very much. I, myself feel very happy and fun throughout living in a fisherman life. I really would like to thank my friend Soo Chi for being so greatful in inviting me and my friends to her house. Besides that, I would like to thank her mom for her kindness for taking care of me and my friends throughout this 3 days. I really enjoy myself very much. Hope I could be at that place one more time.
